There are currently 18 regular bus routes in operation in the West and South Offaly area:

• 2 daily services to third level colleges covering        St Sheelan's College in Templemore, AIT, and Moate Business College, with almost one hundred students using our services in 2008 alone

• 11 weekly multifunctional services to local towns (Birr, Tullamore, Ferbane, Athlone, Roscrea and Clara) giving a vast range of passengers (youth, older people, parents etc) the opportunity to access local services

• 5 weekly services to active age/network events in local centres (Ferbane, Ballycumber, Rahan and Clara) providing older people with the opportunity to get out, meet friends, identify care needs, and take part in their local community

 

 

 

 

 

The service also provides transport supports to youth groups in Offaly and has facilitated young people taking part in many recreational events, educational opportunities, Comhairle na nÓg projects, afterschools projects, summer camps etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The service also provides transport to local training centres in our locality allowing participants access to education and training opportunities

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The service in Offaly records approximately 19,000 passenger journeys per annum
