Tullamore Social Services Ltd would like to acknowledge receipt of €1,000 from Lions Club Tullamore This funding will be used to support the Organisation in the provision of Personal Alarms for the elderly and also will be used in supporting the Contact Service who provide a regular friendly telephone call to those who require it.We greatly appreciate this donation at this time.

Choral Concert in the Church of the Assumption

Tullamore Social Service Ltd presented a very successful Choral Concert in the Church of the Assumption featuring a wide variety of local choirs on Fri. 15t. January 2016.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness of our telephone befriending service, with which we provide a community care service, offering a range of tele-care and social supports to older people and to all adults who may feel vulnerable or alone. Our friendly staff contact our clients on a regular basis for a friendly chat and to ensure they are safe and sound.

To a person feeling lonely or isolated, something as simple as a friendly, caring voice can make a huge difference for these sometimes over-looked members of society. Our aim is not only to make them feel safe and cared for but to feel valued.
